The aim of the workshop is empower the community with deeper knowledge and insight into the workings of transformative agreements, which will, in turn, inform and strengthen our strategies. Building on the consensus achieved at the 14th Berlin Open Access Conference and the body of data being collected in the ESAC Transformative Agreement Registry, the workshop will comprise activities and focused discussions on these themes:
- Principles of transformative agreements defined
- Evaluation of transformative agreements
- Approaches to publisher negotiations
- Moving forward to the next phase
- Filling the gaps and broadening our network
- Visualizing our individual and global impact
