 OA share of cost (quota) expected to cover the publishing activity in 2022. Any publishing over the quota will need to be paid by relevant institutions on an opt-in basis including a 20% discount on APC.

OVERALL ASSESSMENT AND COMMENTS When Plan S comes in with full effect from 2025, this type of agreement will not be possible. That is also why we have only made a 1 year agreement for 2022 with the aim of renegotiating it to include elements that show a clearer transition to a more sustainable agreement.
