OVERALL ASSESSMENT AND COMMENTS | These are the first transformative agreements in Colombia and Latin America, and we hope that this will have a positive impact on the transition to open science.
One of the benefits is that the institutions that are part of the Consorcio Colombia will save about USD$ 2 million in APC payments through the transformative agreements signed. Based on the experience of this first year, researchers’ and institution comments will be considered for the coming years, such as the inclusion of more journals. Considering that the agreement will start on July 1 of 2022 unused articles at the end of a calendar year, will can be used in the next calendar year |
