Eventual publications in fully, gold open access journals are not included – possible additional costs for individual authors. For publications in IOP journals that are part of SCOAP3 (the Sponsoring Consortium for Open Access Publishing in Particle Physics), IOP will make appropriate adjustments to the fees to reflect this.
