|OVERALL ASSESSMENT AND COMMENTS||These are the first transformative agreements in Colombia and Latin America, and we hope that this will have a positive impact on the transition to open science.
One of the benefits is that the institutions that are part of the Consorcio Colombia will save about USD$ 2 million in APC payments through the transformative agreements signed.
Based on the experience of this first year, researchers’ and institution comments will be considered for the coming years, such as the inclusion of more journals.
Any unused articles at the end of a calendar year, will not carry over to the next calendar year and are not refundable.
