The cap will be increased appropriately should more institutions join the agreement. The estimated cap is reasonably higher than the average annual consortia output in previous years. Articles published in excess of the annual cap will receive a 23% discount on the agreed standard APC. |

This agreement transitions a significant proportion of UK physics research publishing output towards open access, for a moderate increase on previous subscription spend. Workflow improvements are expected in order to raise the performance of the agreement throughout its term. Jisc will continue to review. |
