| FINANCIAL SHIFT
Transformative agreements vary by their transformative mechanisms, meaning the way in which financing is shifted from the subscription side to open access publishing. What are the characteristics of this agreement to this regard? |
The total value is distributed per participating institution in accordance with the 90/10 model, where 90% is distributed on the share of publication within the agreement and 10% is distributed on the share of full-time equivalents within the agreement (HTE). The model also contains a Minimum level, an Upper limit for price increase (+50%) and a Lower limit for price reduction (-20%). |
