RISK SHARING

How do entitlements for open access publishing correlate to the anticipated article output? Which mechanisms for risk sharing have been agreed in cases of exceeding or not reaching the number of OA publishing entitlements?

 ACS has granted ACS Reward tokens (“Tokens”), to be distributed amongst the subscribed institutions under ANKOS Consortium. Tokens expire 24 months after they have been granted. Notwithstanding, Tokens may be used solely in the calendar year for which they were issued.
Once the number of Tokens granted has been used, Grantee may purchase additional Tokens at its discretion.
