OVERALL ASSESSMENT AND COMMENTS | This agreement covers just 25 government-funded research institutes under NST, whose research outcome takes up about one fifteenth of South Korea. Approximately 40% of total Elsevier articles will be open access for three years. Despite the number of participating institutions is small, this agreement is the first transformative agreement made in South Korea and can be considered as an remarkable step towards the open access transformation. |
