The is no change in the subscription costs. Articles in Lancet and Cell Press journals are excluded from the agreement and from this data. |

OVERALL ASSESSMENT AND COMMENTS | This agreement provides a tangible benefit to UF corresponding authors with no financial impact on the Smathers Libraries. It is sustainable and could be a model for other agreements between Elsevier and academic research libraries. The agreement has only been in place for a few months so it is not yet possible to assess the impact on the transition to open access. |
