| OVERALL ASSESSMENT AND COMMENTS | Royal Society Publishing plans to make its journals fully open access in 2026 by adopting the “Subscribe to Open (S2O)” model. TIB and Royal Society have agreed to continue the previous Read & Publish Agreement for one interim year (2026) to secure institutional funding during the S2O pilot phase and to guarantee the publishing option for all consortium members (incl. in Gold OA journals). |
