OVERALL ASSESSMENT AND COMMENTS
The agreement results in real term cost savings for institutions and provides unlimited open access publishing in Nature Research titles for the first time. However, as with the previous agreement (2023-2025), UK institutions expressed reservations about the agreement overall, particularly around the lack of transparency on costs in Nature Research journals.
