RISK SHARING

How do entitlements for open access publishing correlate to the anticipated article output? Which mechanisms for risk sharing have been agreed in cases of exceeding or not reaching the number of OA publishing entitlements?

 In 2026 and subsequent years, the fees shall increase or decrease in proportion with the change in article output for that year. 1% is added to the fees annually for inflation. The sum paid by the Institution in any year shall not rise compared to the previous year by more than five (5) per cent or fall by more than five (5) per cent, regardless of whether the change in article output exceeds these amounts.
